What we see most

Pain that has lasted longer than it should

Most of our pain patients have already had scans, medicines and rest. They come when the pain keeps returning, or when they want to reduce their dependence on painkillers with their doctor's agreement.

Lower back pain and sciatica

Chronic low-back pain, disc-related pain and sciatica running into the leg — often from long sitting or lifting.

Neck and shoulder pain

Cervical spondylosis, stiff neck, frozen shoulder and the headaches that come with desk and phone posture.

Knee pain and arthritis

Osteoarthritis of the knee, pain on stairs and after sitting, and joint pain linked with weight.

Migraine and headaches

Frequent migraine, tension headache and vertigo, with the sleep and stress patterns behind them.

Diabetic neuropathy

Burning, numbness and tingling in the feet and hands, as part of our diabetes programme.

Sports and work injuries

Sprains, strains, overuse injuries, fibromyalgia and stiffness after surgery — once your doctor has cleared you for treatment.

Honest expectations

What acupuncture can support — and what it cannot

What we work on with you

  • Pain intensity and how often it flares
  • Stiffness, range of movement and muscle spasm
  • Sleep disturbed by pain
  • Getting back to walking, work and daily activity
  • Reducing painkiller use — only with your doctor's agreement

What we do not claim

  • We do not cure arthritis, disc disease or nerve damage
  • We do not replace scans, surgery, physiotherapy or your doctor's medicines
  • We do not promise a pain-free result — results vary from person to person
  • Sudden severe pain, numbness with weakness, or pain after a fall needs a hospital first

Acupuncture is a complementary therapy. Bring your scans and reports; we work with your doctor's diagnosis, not around it.

How the programme runs

Four steps, nothing hidden

  1. First consultation — about 45 minutes. History, examination, your scans and reports, and your current medicines. We tell you plainly what we expect to help with and what it will not.
  2. A plan you understand. Which points, how many sessions, how often, and what to do at home between sessions. Where your condition is medical, our diabetologist advises on that side.
  3. Sessions with tracking. Usually 6–10 sessions for most pain conditions; longer-standing pain may need more. We track pain scores, movement and sleep with you and review at set points.
  4. Follow-up on WhatsApp. Session reminders and a place to ask practical questions between visits.

Clear before you start

What it costs

First-time registration is ₹500. Treatment charges are decided after your diagnosis, once we know how many sessions make sense for you — and we tell you before you commit.

Every patient signs a consent form before the first treatment. A session that is agreed and then missed is treated as taken.

Questions patients ask

Acupuncture and pain — straight answers

Does acupuncture work for back pain?

Many of our patients come for chronic back pain and sciatica and report less pain and better movement over a course of sessions. Results vary from person to person; we track your pain scores and tell you honestly at review points whether it is helping.

Can I stop my painkillers?

Only with your doctor's agreement. We never ask you to stop or change any medicine. Many patients find they need less over time, and that is a decision for you and your doctor.

How many sessions will I need?

Usually 6 to 10 sessions for most pain conditions. Pain that has lasted years, or arthritis, may need more and sometimes spaced-out maintenance sessions. We agree the plan after the first consultation.

Does it hurt?

Most people feel a brief pinch or a dull, heavy sensation at the point, then relax. Many patients fall asleep during a session.

Is it safe with arthritis, diabetes or blood thinners?

Acupuncture uses sterile, single-use needles. Tell us about blood thinners, diabetes, pacemakers, pregnancy or recent surgery; we adapt the treatment or ask your doctor first.

Should I bring my MRI or X-ray?

Yes. We work with your doctor's diagnosis. Bring scans, reports and your medicine list to the first consultation.
